We were delighted to play a small part in the resurrection of @Port Ellen Distillery, which recently reopened after closing over 40 years ago.
It has been a remarkable journey for the iconic distillery on the Isle of Islay, with #Diageo investing over six years and millions of pounds into this ambitious project.
We supplied two filling machines and after making sure the first fills ran smoothly we joined in the celebrations as the distillery opened its doors again. At the end of the day, the non-drivers among us were lucky enough to enjoy a wee dram from the last cask that had been filled in 1983.
