Location - CLYDEBANK/VARIABLE SITES ACCROSS SCOTLAND
Purpose / Role
-
To deliver a high quality, consistent and competent fabrication service in accordance with project / company requirements, standards and procedures
-
To support overall delivery of company goals and schedule along with site procedures
-
To ensure that all workscopes are completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment
Duties of the Pipefitter Welder will include:
-
Fabricating Pipework in accordance to Isometric drawings and/or P&iD’s.
-
Welding of Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel Pipework, Small bore to Large bore.
-
Measuring knowledge is essential both metric and imperial and ability to sketch pipework.

Building sub - assemblies to engineering drawings as SOP's.
-
Installing pipework to Isometric drawings and/or P&iD’s.
What the role involves
-
Ability to work all over the U.K, whether it be travelling daily, or ADHOC trips away from home.

Working both in fabrication workshop, and on site as and when required.

Working within and contributing towards the current health & safety guidelines and site requirements.

Good team working skills as well as working on own initiative.
-
Promote good housekeeping for an efficient working environment.

Undergo training programmes where necessary.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
Essential
-
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
-
4 Year Apprenticeship or Level 2 NVQ equivalent
-
City and Guilds (C&G)/Modern Apprenticeship in Pipefitting and or NVQ Level 3 in related trade.
-
Strong fabrication/engineering background in a similar environment.
-
Good Communication skills.
-
Capable of working alone, or equally as part of a team.
-
Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to quality of work.
-
Flexible approach to working times in line with company’s reactive nature.
Desirable
-
Full clean UK driving licence.
-
CCNSG Safety passport / and/or CSCS.
-
Pipe welding codings, however not necessary as this can be completed if quality is demonstratable.

Multi skilling an advantage.
-
Experience in distilling industries.
-
Confined space qualification.
-
Demonstrable experience in pressure testing.
